ADHD Day Care Centers

These Day-Care facilities specialize in kids with attention problems. These centers are located in Olympia, Centralia, and Shelton. This link will take you to a few different facilities where you can get information about their offerings.

Big Brothers / Big Sisters

Kids in Thurston County may need a big brother or a big sister.  The Thurston County chapter offers this as a wonderful resource to help kids who need a little encouragement from someone older than themselves.

Community Youth Services

They aim to empower at-risk youth and their families to fulfill their potential by providing a number of individualized services and advocacy.

Growing Places Farms & Energy Park

This innovative program allows teens in Lewis County to learn about alternative energy sources through working side by side with adult mentors. The program is based on a community-driven mentoring strategy. At the center of the program, is a belief that hands-on work produces core competencies of self-care and development, responsible land stewardship and meaningful relationships. Farming, environmental awareness and mentoring are cornerstones of this unique program.

Haven House

Haven House is a co-educational, crisis residential center that serves youth, ages 12-17, who have run away from home or are in conflict with their families and need their basic needs met in a safe, temporary shelter.

Monarch Children's Justice & Advocacy Center

In conjunction with their partner agencies, they offer a wide range of services at no cost to child victims and their families including: forensic interviews, medical evaluations, individual, group and family counseling, community outreach and education, professional training and victim advocacy.

Providence St. Peter's Chemical Dependency Center

The St. Peter Chemical Dependency Program offers a complete continuum of treatment options to diagnose, treat, and provide ongoing recovery support. Their medically supervised programs offer excellence in clinical counseling, comprehensive education, and a safe environment for recovery.

SafePlace

Kids and adolescents in Olympia, Lacey and Tumwater can turn to Safeplace to escape from violence.
